Mark is a third-generation Oregon farmer, born and raised in the Willamette Valley. He has spent his life in agriculture and understands firsthand the responsibility that comes with land and water stewardship.  In the Willamette Valley, Mark farmed grass seed and managed diversified agricultural operations. In Central Oregon, he currently farms multiple locations producing various hay varieties and oversees irrigation systems as part of his daily work. For more than 30 years, he and his family have also raised cattle and currently operate a Wagyu/Angus herd.

His experience includes crop production, livestock management, equipment oversight, budgeting, and long-term operational planning.

Mark and his wife married in 1988 and purchased their property on Cloverdale Road in 2005. Together they have raised four children and now enjoy eight grandchildren.

As Secretary-Treasurer, Mark is committed to responsible financial oversight, transparency in District operations, and adherence to the District’s bylaws and Oregon law. He believes reliable irrigation delivery and sound fiscal management are essential to protecting both patrons and future generations.
